This would be great served up as a "I bought a new car" thread in general. With a sprinkling of chopped parsley.

But I'll be honest with you, I've read more compelling project threads. Mellow

So, in the meantime, while we're all waiting..

(Congrats on the new car, though!)

Done some work to the rallye today , and started returning the 6 to standard.

First step was to remove exhausts from both cars,
the rallye had a scorpion system on it but i decided that im going to use my Pug Sport Magnex instead,
the scorpion will be going on the 6

Gave the Roll Cage a clean up aswell,
Im going to try and get some Red cage padding For it Yes

Next Up was to Swap The beams over.

The nile inherited the standard beam and mounts
While the rallye welcomed the solid mounts 21mm TB's and Hybrid ARB Smile

The Rallye came fitted with some White 205 alloys , I was Not the biggest fan of them To be honest so decided to fit them to the nile of which they look awesome on!

the cyclones claimed refuge on the rallye, but while changing over i felt sick at the weight of the bloody things!

Oh how i miss my C5 Alloys i muttered to my self........

So i went and got some!

Only Managed to source 3 for now but no biggie. No

Gonna clean them up and add a red lip i think Yes .

Whilst this was all happening i enlisted the help of my Lil Bro, issued him a paint brush and got him to start the manifold,
was going to go for silver , but i had 3 tins of black , so black it is!
Debating painting the helholtz resonator red aswell. yes

The main Job that needed doing is the wiring ....

It was fitted With Jenveys , That i reluctantly had to remove and return.

Leaving me with a absolubte f*cking mess of the wiring Crazy

So i set about removing the whole loom ,
and fitting a new one that i sourced from jonny205.

and thats where were at for now, I wanted to waxoil the underside of the rallye today but was pressed for time,
so the list of things to do next are

.More Wiring
.Waxoil underside
.fit spoox wishbones
.Source Decat - if poss a group A twin Tube Devil

and probly alot more Tbh LOL

Will add more when i can Wave

i thought the pugsport was a full magnex with a gusseted backbox? i bought a brand new grp-a "pugsport" system, inc decat, and it's got gussets on the backbox but looks relatively like a standard magnex 3" system otherwise. the decat was twin-tube though, and they summon a fair whack of cash (for s16, not gti6, which mei said on the previous page)
