Reading this it sounds like a distressed sale - you don't really want a written off SMG BMW!

Any chance you could find someone to share the 306 with? Bit of camaraderie and you will have it finished quickly.

Ideally someone with space to work on it, else finish it under a gazebo on your drive then keep it in the new house's existing garage - what else is that garage going to be for?

Such a shame to let it go, and at a big financial loss too :-(

I'm going to struggle to find the time to do it, it's not likely I'll afford to race it and it's too specialised to use for anything other than track days as it won't be road legal it's going to get used 2-3 times a year. The BM can be used whenever the mood takes me and left in the garage when it's grim out or I fancy a financial break. I don't think I could bring myself to share it, who foots the bill if it breaks? Who gets lumbered doing/paying for maintenance and storing it.
I am going to the new place tomorrow to have a measure up inside the single garage to see exactly what ive got to play with.

Will be awkward when you come up against a charged 6 and you get blown into the weeds though...

This must be heartbreaking to you to let this go,my son bin ours last year at pembrey..(lesson learned lol ) so I'm in the middle of building another one, most people don't realise or understand how many hours of work goes into preparing a car for the track/ racing there is,so much goes into it that people never see, it's such an obsession,by the looks of your car you take great pride in what you do ...good luck with your decision it's going to be hard which ever way you go sell or strip it,hope you don't regret it you done so much work to it...good luck mate
