I’ve searched for a long time for adjustable topmounts for track use to properly fit 306 and have not found anything that I was fully satisfied with with (most kits do not increase the caster or provide wide enough range of camber adjustment). So I designed my own:

- Fit 306 using the usual 3 bolt holes
- 2deg of extra caster
- Fully adjustable camber 1 to 4 deg with 2.5” coilovers*
- Use 20mm ID spherical bearings

* 1 deg fits the standard cut out and anything above requires the mount hole enlarging as can be seen in pictures below.

It was not economically viable to make just one kit so I had a few made. There are currently 5 kits available, but I am waiting for a couple of people for first refusals.
The price for the kit is £295 collected or £305 delivered.

The kit includes all the nuts and bolts to fit the mounts:

Note: the kit does NOT include the sleeve washers/nuts as there are too many variants depending on which coilovers are used.

Hole enlarged to have up to 3 deg of negative camber:

Mounts set to 2 deg of negative camber.

There is always a plasma cutter and a grinder…

In the long term I am planning to reinforce my turrets by filling in most of the cut out with 3mm plate and putting slots to line up with the top mounts. (Just need to have a bit more practice with the welder first Thumbs up)

I was not planning to make any more, but if there is enough interest – I’ll reconsider.

Having spoken to Denis on a couple of occasions about these they ate an improvement on what spoox etc offer, so yes they will work with v2's I would imagine but buzz I expect they won't work with normal type dampers as A) there isn't the clearance in the turrets to allow movement for camber adjustment. Coolthere isn't enough on the thread at the top of the struts and no way of securing the spring and still allowing the strut to move on the bearing if you get my meaning. I'm pretty sure I'm right with this I'm sure Denis will confirm when he comes on line! Thumbs up

^ ahh I see.
And If they did fit the springs would basically catch the inner wing because of the extra camber and castor?

Pretty much, there's only about 5mm there before they hit on a standard car.

trouble is I don't really want to run coil overs, I like it to be road compatible, when I've been in cars with cool overs on the road it's been to stiff and made the cars handle worse.

The mounts will work with KW V2s. If you are on standard mounts at the moment you’d need to buy different top hats for the springs from KW.

As for B8s – as the others have said, you can’t use these mounts. As an option, you can have your hubs machined for negative camber (that is what I had done when I was running B8s).

There is no inherent problems with coil overs and ride quality. It is just that most cheap coil overs have very nasty dampers. Everyone who comes out in my Rallye could not believe the ride quality; it rides bumps better than my 3 series.

QFT Thumbs up

people don't realise there's much more to a decent uprated suspension setup than a stiff spring and some cheap dampers, and you wont get that for less than £800-1k.
