Sure I understand, it doesn't matter as the camber will be set, its the 1.6 that wont fit or work with mine that's all.

Are the bumpsteer and roll centre kits in production yet, for 18mm hubs?

Iv'e fancied sets of these for a while but wondered to myself if they would be beneficial. I know a guy who has a civic type r who has not long fitted these mods and according to him its then best thing he's done so far since lowering. TBH i'm surprised they are not in production yet

Would benefit my setup no end as all roller bearing and rose jointed arb links and when im gunning it you can proper feel the bump steer!

Looked no end and no one does them!

The roll centre kit is not happening I'm afraid. The angle of the BBJ going into the hub makes it too difficult to do. The offset ones we made overcame the angle but they mess with the scrub radius (which is negligible to be honest) and aren't strong enough for our liking.
We've come up with a different way to do it but it's alot more expensive and requires your hub modifying and rose jointed BBJ. This is by no means a bolt on kit though and requires fitting and checking by someone who knows what they're doing.

I can do bump steer kits but I will require you to send me your hubs, track rods and track rod ends.

Regards, Al

I'm up for a bump steer kit but why do you need my track rod and track rod end? And also what is the turnaround time?

Because there are no suitable off the shelf rose joints with long enough threads we'd need to lengthen your track rods to suit shorter rose joints, or cut your track rods and re-thread the bore and fit extended rose joints. We've done this a few times now but it isn't cheap due to the work involved. It's be cheaper to extend the arms with a welded sleeve.
Again once they're fitted you'll need to remove the springs from the car and check the rose joint doesn't bind up anywhere. This is the exact reason why we don't sell a bolt on kit anymore, not everyone is capable of checking the parts once fitted.

Here's the extenders we use when shortening and re-threading track rods

As I say these are expensive to make, particularly the ones pictured as they're titanium.

Morning, for everyone contacting me about bumpsteer kits. There's nothing available at present but if someone wants to remove their track rods with track rod ends still attached and post them to me along with their hubs I can make a kit up. This will however take a few weeks so please bare that I mind.

Any takers?

After quite a bit of interest we are now also offering our rear arms with -3.5 degrees camber and 0 toe. Price is still £175 + p&p exchange.

We'll also shortly have a bumpsteer reduction kit available. Again this will require your hubs accurately drilling/boring out to accept a sleeved spacers, the kit will come complete with new shorter track rods as well as an extended rose joints to replace the track rod end. Price is TBA

Cheers, Al

I'll look it out for you when I get to work tomorrow.

Ride height is set at around -40 it's with the arm level ie; the stub axle and trailing arm arm pin at the same height.

Would you do the bump steer kit with a longer thread on the tre? I just ask as I'm told that the xsara p1 rack is shorter so that the tre are wound out almost to the end.
