Laugh

Nah the grey i'm after is a really dark one, but not as dark or purpley ghey as astor. Just think it's a really nice Ninja colour. Lairy is good for a while but depending on my career path I might be after something more respectable, and the amount of money thrown at this thing i'd never make it back.

Maybe a better pic, much darker than cossack

Plus means I can practice painting again Laugh

"ooh, car friend!" Laugh

You mean brown? No ta. Never seen it in real life but from the pictures it looks horrible tbh. A nice dark smokey grey will do me just fine.

This is kinda how I'm hoping mine goes next year.

Looks FIT.

if you struggle, paypal me £30 and i'll post you an MOT certificate out Whistle

Laugh

Decided i'm going to do a phillipm and make some things. Namely rose jointed drop links, possibly other bits if they're easily do-able. Unfortunately they won't be the anodised beacons of awesomeness that phil makes but i've been chatting to him and it's do-able. Cheaper than his and to the same effect, just not as shiny or lightweight. Off to a motorsports place later this week to price things up with them.

Will also be getting a new steering wheel, looking at an OMP Corsica replica wheel to replace my flat designed one. From the same place so might try and wangle a discount if I buy lots of bits Laugh

If the drop links work I will undercut Phil's price by £10 Whistle I also won't offer any product support if they are full of PHAIL and fall apart after 100 miles so ner.

You mean like this?

I got mine brand new for like £45 delivered on the 'bay. Its a replica one, but a mate of mine who has a proper one didnt notice Laugh

Only difference we saw (other than being like £100 cheaper) was his has 3 holes in the spokes, and mine has 2. Give a shit? Wink

Pretty much Chris, i've found one called "R-style" or something or other at a place in Fire who also specialise in joints for kits cars and stuff. Think theirs is about £38 if you buy in store, 320mm, 3" dish, EXACTLY like that! Owain they do the flat style too, you got the RMD one right? Cost me £60 for mine from them and these ones at McGills are identical, just with another unknown brand on them.

M5 rose joints though? ORLY? I'm looking at between M8 and M12 size joints and 15deg won't be enough movement, will reach the limit of travel and then put pressure on the joint, need some heavier duty kevlar/nylon ones with extended travel and top hat spacers, pretty similar to what Phil's doing already. I need TRE's to so going to price up rose jointing them at some point. Shiny stuff FTW Cool

Really? Can't see rose jointed ones fitting, unless you're thinking of knocking the sphere out and using the cup?

10% and you can deal with the people posting shit through your letterbox?

The sphere on those M5/M6 joints is usually only held in with a spring clip btw Owain, pulls straight out with a set of pliers...
