looking at the spec of it I wouldn't bother as its such a mild cam, wasting your money buying two.

I'd get something like a Peter taylor inlet cam or a catcams inlet only on a stock engine.

hmm i'd be suprised. any idea what the wheel horse power is/was? could be some optimistic flywheel figures

welshpug im thinking of changing my inlet cam after a had a chat with stilly when we done my cambelt but ive been told i'll see some gains and i mite not see any at all Huh? hows that work??

PM peterT for more details on his cams, I think 17bhp is the best result I've seen from an inlet cam on a 16v XU, depends entirely if the cam and management has been setup properly.

Like AdamB, I can't believe more people aren't adjusting stock cams as you can eek a fair bit more torque from them without sacrificing power.

so say you have a decent engine and the cams happen to be somewhere good, and you just chuck the cams in wherever the pins place them, then its entirely possible you might not see much real gains.

I'm going to a local rr tomorrow so I'll keep everyone informed as to what my 6 makes... 180-190bhp estimated imo was for the fly!
Maybe 150 at the wheels..?
But we will see what tomorrow brings Smile

mine was done at regal, 197 at the fly and 173 at the wheels iirc cant find print out atm.
