Finished welding up the exhaust today, not looking forward to fitting it tomorrow Sad Flange bolts are a nightmare to get in and do up.

Not much else achieved today really, helping my mate fixed his frigging escort brakes. He should just paint it yellow throw all the scrap in there and burn the b@stard!

Should be ready for an mot during the week Big grin Big grin Big grin

Cant wait Big grin

Exhuast all welded up fitted alright aswell Big grin

Had a bit of a re-shuffle in the engine bay

Bloody water keeps p*ssing out the expansion tank, think it was my fault for filling up too much

Oops!

Also found this little critter in the engine bay, scared the crap out of me when I realised what it was lol thought it was scrunched up duct tape LOL

When the exhaust was on and the earth had stopped shaking I could hear the cambelt was too tight Angry

Thought i'd get the seat rails started today (at long last!)

Did a few measurements and got cutting Big grin

Just a to see if it fitted

I welded a nut onto the bottom of the angle. Loads of pigeon sh!t for the first go but fine tuned it for the next.

Two seat mount bolts thing majiggs fitted.

Rail in place got to weld it in tomorrow.

Been a bit clumsy today lol, got a bit of red hot metal from the welder in my lug hole. OUCH!
Then just before I was about to packup/leave I went to move the bar in the vice grabbed the red hot bit without gloves on, now I have a nice burn on my hand OOOUUUCCCHHHHH!

Got the car on road today, drive around steadily and the headgasket had gone.

I bought this engine off a member on here claiming 67k on the clock, he stated the engine came with everything I needed to drop it in the car.

No injectors/ICV/Oil breather pipework supplied with the engine and the ECU supplied was locked.

I asked you to send out the bits you didnt supply and you never did.
Making up some bullsh!t excuse that your mum didnt send them while you were on holiday.

The head taps like a sewing machine and the headgasket had obviously gone before you sold it.

You know who you are and hopefully if admin action my request, you will be labelled as a bad seller (maybe banned) to stop other members buying your shoddy goods.
