didnt john have some btcc gas shockers?! oh actually i remember him selling them cos they needed a section cutting out of them Unsure

agh i've got so much shit to buy i don't know where to start. my rear beam needs stiffening up for starters with solid mounts and arb etc, need some coilovers too

yeah i sold them cos i needed some god dam mullar for other things Doh

had to chop the rear mounts up to make them fit but that didnt bother me really. They would have been abit overkill though as i had already got thicker bars and they had air springs as well Crazy

im gonna grab a fair few bits next week, i need some coilovers or different suspension setup anyway cos mine's running standard front/rear 110k old setup [30mm lowered though]

these AP coilovers are actually looking quite smart. was looking at Gaz gold and some KW v2's too, bit pricey at moment

No, no preload/length adjuster John, that adjusted where it sat in it's travel as well as ride height and it'd be a right bas**rd for most people to set up properly.

I'll leave the air pressure the same spring assist as everyone else then, if that's not enough, I can crank it a little further with some heatsink'd resevoirs, although it increases the hysteris of the damper, so if you need a lot I can rebuild them with 23mm shafts instead, which'll double the spring force available.

Well, I can give yours an extra inch of droop travel if you like which would add some preload whilst keeping the spring rate changes fairly low?

I might have to make a little bracket up for mounting but shouldn't be too much trouble.

Cant understand it as i got the dummy dampers off wayne and left it where he had his just gave it about 3 half turns lower and it came out like this Blink

hmm, 3.5 turns on 1.5 thread would be about 5.25mm, or 4.35mm on 1.25 thread, which is quite a lot in Damper bolt distances LOL

roughly 1mm to 2.5-3mm ish in ride height
