If its f**ked because of their design they will be fixing it under warranty, reading up on the Audi forums it looks like I need to get the R8, S5 and the Q7 checked out - they've all got the same basic 4.2 V8 FSI. ![]() No I haven't yet; will prob tie it in with the next service. In most cases you are looking at a reduction in power from 40 to 60 bhp but the driveability of the cars should be unaffected. Apparently BMW in the US use a shot blast system with crushed walnut shells which seems to work really well and is pretty quick by all accounts but ive not heard of anyone else using it. They have even developed specific tools for the job. |
