Im suprised you didnt put a 309 front anti roll bar in while you were going to this extent, its a nice upgrade for the front end Cool

Most people shy away from that on 'standard' cars, but I'm guessing it helps control the extra weight of the '6 engine?

Is the RS really that much heavier than the 8 valve XU? I thought the blocks were more or less the same.

Looking good Carl. It's good to see my Xsara is going to live onLaugh my ass off

built up there's about 25 kilo's in it IIRC.

Carl, is that a Xsara wiring loom? looks to be laid out a little differently to a 306 one.

yes the xsara loom are a bit neater and have a better plug to wire into than the 306 looms. what oil pressure sensor you using, 306 xsi or s16 one is what you need.
the xsara vts box is the best box to use also, it has a stronger diff than the earlier BE boxes and as a syncro for reverse, you should also fit the xsra vts rack, this is the quickest of all the racks and will bolt straight on

Well fter not touching the car for some time i decided to get Dave to do some work so i could carry on stripping down the engine bay.

The bay now is more or less bare and just needs the wiring removing, had some fun when i removed the air horn with the garage air line LOLLOL

Dave called me a cock and nearly smashed it up!!! I dont think he like being force fed his cob by the scare.

Moved on a little bit, the car has now come off the axle stands and now is supported by an engine crane and a block of wood, totally stripped now and ready for paint-

All washed off and rid of all the grime and gunge that builds up, took me ages and i think the grime that came off the car landed on me!!

Also picked up my new engine bay sticker set-
