How are you doing the hydraulic clutch? I have two options in mind I was aiming for with mine... curious if either are similar to what your javing done?!

I'll get a picture ....but basically a Tilton push or pull slave cylinder on a frame bolted on top of the outside of the gearbox housing like the old minis did if that makes sense ..looks real simple ....

Sounds like what I was planning to attempt... with this type of slave cylinder for example?

https://www.competitionsupplies.com/clutch-release/external-slave-cylinders/pull-type-clutch-slave-cylinder

I was assuming I'd have to make a metal insert for the clutch arm to locate the end of the cylinder and allow enough movement for a slight side to side action to allow for the curve the clutch arm takes...

due to how the standard clutch works i think a push cylinder would work better, fix one end to the clutch arm and the slave behind the arm to the casing.

Are you meaning fit one at the front of the car ahead of the gearbox, pushing back towards the bulkhead?

no as its a pull clutch that wouldnt work, for a push clutch youd use a pull cylinder boltrd to the casing pulling the arm

I have a 184mm push clutch. Not on standard size or type of clutch.

To be totally truthful Dan ...for all the crazy cost probably NO if I was being sensible...
But I'm looking to bring the best out of Sandys Engine & the cars got so much more to give I believe....I don't think I'm to bad a driver to be honest Dan ...

We aren't talking hundreds we are talking thousands Dan to finish the front suspension....I know ..I know I don't Race & it's totally stupid !!!!!!
I could of gone a much cheaper route like Twangy/ Wayne has done & got the same result I'm sure ...
But I don't have the contacts he does sadly ....But hay ho I've gone this far ...let's see the outcome ?

On top of the Suspension ....I've also got the sunk in petrol tank to sort & the pedal box & Hydralic clutch conversion & remove the servo also.....then that's it for this year 100% ...that may even go into next year ?...hope not Whistle

Sequencal Sadev ST85 won't happen for a long long time if EVER ?

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying the car went pass sensible a long long time ago & it really didn't need 1/2 that I've done to it ....but I've enjoyed every single sad moment of it & apart from the money I've wasted & will never ever see back ...I'd do it all over again & im fully aware it's a £1k Car & nothing more LOL

I meant is it worth only making the front wider not the rear? Saves the hassle of rear arches etc., might at least be interesting to see how it handles like that?

You're definitely going to end up with a sequential at some point, we all know it Razz

If so Dan not for another year or more m8 Thumbs up

As you all know I'm going 50mm plus wider on the rear & 30 on the back ....I'm going to put new rear hubs on the car because they are feeling & looking a little tired ...Like me ...
so I ordered SkF -VKBA3545 full kit from a Auth dealer via Skf uk sales manager....

I would just like to mention go careful buying these kits as I've been told the good old fakers are coping these & have been for years.....I'm sure most of you know this Thumbs up

I know I could of had BRT / VAG / SNR / hubs & Bearings but I've always used SKF & never had one problem in all the years of owning cars .
They are on average £30-£40 more per side more than above ....
Anyway they are on the way from Belgium as none are in stock from SKF U.K. ...

All my last posts are missing ?

Anybody else noticed this on there own ?

Anyway once I've got all my F2000 50mm wider front Wings fitted and drivers door trial fitted Also front bumper and rear 205 small arch extenders fitted I've decided to change the colour of the whole car to a Astor sort of colour but more like my BMW colour really .Dolphin metallic Grey the roofs gone a bit patchy. some other areas that haven't been replaced or sprayed are showing the age Whistle

The car is 100% straight apart from a few marks / scratches no dents been given a amazing price by a top bloke it will happen soon ...
Another bonus is All the Carbon should hopefully blend in not stand out as does the F2000 tailgate spoiler and front spitter etc
