If his intercooler is the same as my old one which was a pro alloy one it won't suffer from air flow! Pro alloy told me that their interoolers are more than twice as efficient as a eBay cheap item |

After speaking to them at pro alloy I got told that I would only need a 75mm thick pro alloy cooler but if I was using a eBay item I would need to be running one twice as thick to achieve the same results!Cheap mass produced eBay items will restrict air flow and add unnecessary weight. They only use a 75mm cooler on 600hp cosworths and only use 100mm thibck ones on 1000hp supras etc |

At you running standard rad, Did you have to do anything to get the 2.5inch pipes to fit through from the charger on the d/s?________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

I bet it is i hadA quick test try and couldn't get it through but it was only just, I never forced it but I suppose it could go if rad was 1-2mm further to the right ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Is the pipework not the stuff mechanical repairs supplied with the cooler? If so it's not 2.5" and only 2" for the bit that goes along side the rad |

Can't help thinking that oil cooler should be somewhere different. It's really going to heat up the intercooler being sat there... Otherwise that's proper tidy mate!Just for information if you want the best coolers use PWR cores ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
