SOLD

Set of non standard cams.

Base dia is approx 37.75mm
Base + lift is 48.85mm

Lift: 11.1 mm not sure of the make, a couple of symbols on them but not a manufacturers mark.
but they dont seem to be standard which have 10mm lift if im correct.

I had them in my 6 when I got it. It made good power through the rev range that didnt drop off in the higher revs.

Ecu is from a phase 1 gti6 and rev limit has been upped to approx 8k.

Timing belt kit is a gates kit with pulleys.

Looking for £350 for complete set. - price dropped to £200

Can arrange shipping at cost within the uk.

Thanks
Rich

Put some pics of all the markings etc up mate I wouldn't wanna put cams of un known lairyness in an engine unless I had pocketed pistons. Maybe someone will recognise the marks?

They came from what was otherwise a standard engine. Pistons were not pocketed, and injectors were standard etc.

They were fitted to my engine before I bought the car. And I used it on a few track days, it seemed to keep going where my friends rallye ran out of puff.

ECU is unlocked as i didnt have to use the key pad for the car.

Would be happy to verify this by testing it on your vehicle if you were interested.

Rich, could you post a picture of the drive end of the cams with the pulleys removed? IIRC there will be numbers stamped in the end which will more than likely give an indication of the make and model number! Thumbs up

*EDIT* thinking about it, it may be the non drive end.... either way on one end of each cam there will be a series of letters and numbers which should give an idea!

I am but only if the cams could be confirmed as to what they are. I'm seeing miles on the 27th I'll ask him to have a look and see if he knows what they are.

I remember this car, very quick as far as I recall and it definitely had updated cams in it. Yes

Unfortunately, I can't remember which ones they were. Doh
