Dave, if ur wanting to piece it, I've got a full roll of 3/16 copper and probably most of the unions you need and a pipe bending thingy from when I removed my abs. I can probs meet you Saturday and hand over what I have if that's any help? All you'll probs need is to borrow a flaring tool..... Thumbs up

I'm still on the hunt for a Brake Flaring tool,..

there maybe someone out there with a little more knowledge on these things than me,
the cheaper end of the marked for these tools are £10 give or take,

they mostly state copper or aluminum Lines,
up to to size 16mm

but would one of these be strong enough to flare a 3/16" standard steel line does anyone know?

That one's good. Can bung it in a vice for extra purchase.

Most of the modern chinese made s**t is terrbile until you start pay 100+ for a bench/vice mounted one.

Have a scour around the forums/ebay and see if you can find an old handheld moprod one, they're superb, I've done stainless steel lines on mine before.

    Choice of brake pipe -
Kunifer or kunifer 10 or CuFe pipe is preferable imo.
All copper is very soft and can dent with under car debris and also seems to corrode into the nuts worse.

    Good luck with the job.
