As above Sad

Gutted for the employees. Sad to say I will never own a brand new set of MO or TH! If I won enough money on the lottery tomorrow I'd save it!

Matt Evans knows someone that works there, they will be backWink

Apparently the landlord of the industrial estate gave them 8 weeks notice as the estate has been sold, and this was not long enough for them to find new premises and re-locateThumbs down

Theres an update on Compomotives facebook page. I knew this two weeks ago but said nothing because they were at a delicate stage.

The Ltd company thats on the site in Wolverhampton has had to go into administration because they simply cannot re-locate in time.

Compomotive is split between the Ltd co that manufactures the wheels and Compomotive that is the retail outlet/management side. (a seperate company)

The actual brand "Compomotive" is safe, and the retail outlet/management company is desperatly trying to reloacte and will do so soon we hope, and will be back selling wheels soon.

I hope they come back for spare wheels as I have my M0's Smile

That said, I was basically f**ked off when I asked for some wheel bolts, didn't want to help, didn't know the bolt manufacturer/supplier then just f**ked me off

Must have been an off day for someone maybe? They always make stuff with a standard 60 degree taper on the bolt holes, thread would be the normal pug Pitch and the length you could measure?

Nothing at all special about the bolts they use. Only exceptions are on the older Group A comps that were designed to use a specific insert and matching Group A nuts. Only normally found on Cossie rally rims and stuff. All road wheels are standard 60 degree stuff.

Well this is my confusion, of all the Rallye's and GTi's I've had, they've always had flat seated bolts for the cyclones.

Compomotive (same guy over a couple weeks of emails) told me they use flat seated bolts on the M05's and he'd get them sorted 10mm longer than standard

Glad that Comp has not been a victim of hard times after all. Still a chance I may own a set. Most likely if I get my hands on another '6 or a Rallye or even better a T34 EsCos... I can only hope or wish.
