what wife? Big grin

800 pounds?? you only need S40, £500. but yes, I'm going to put a £500 ecu on a £200 engine Big grin

OR, do you have anyone that can map the original bosch MP5.2 ecu? run the EW engine on that!

off course, it's financial wisdom to install 800 pound ECU on 300 pound engine

That's the result of 100 years of mechanical development and 30-40 ish years of software development. In 40 years you'll be able to remap an engine yourself using your tablet/phone/cyborg implants using an ECU you built yourself out of an old tv circuit board, but by then your car will probably run on p**s and electricity anyway.

Petrol stations will be so much more interesting, especially if Shell still have forecourt attendants by then. Instead of paying for fuel you'd just buy bottled water and asparagus for the attendants, who would be genetically enhanced by scientists at Shell to produce their own special blend of superconductive p**s, with added lubricants and cleaning agents.

Harder wearing interior trim. Gear knob could do with not being trimmed in leather to stop it wearing away and the seats could do with stronger seams and tougher materials. The materials on the seats are nice but they don't really stand up to extended use let alone abuse.

Lighter alloys, or for the rallye white steelies like the 106 rallye, thinner, coloured carpets as an option or standard on the rallye. SP pack spolier as standard. Ditch noise insulation on bonnet on non-rallye models as well. Better washer jets, and obviously aero wipers as standard. Update dashboard and IP but retain same information on cluster. Off the top of my head for now.

without full sequential injection and Individual coils, what good is the S40 for ?

S40: Semi - sequential injection.
wasted spark or distributor.
S60 :Sequential or grouped injection.
Individual coils, wasted spark or distributor.
Unequal coil firing capability.
Unequal injection angle capability

Nothing wrong with wasted spark and semi-sequential for the application.

Well, it's good to know that the planet doesn't worth even £300 for you. LOL

The thing is though you can ger them running as clean if not cleaner on a dta than the original system, IF you have a good mapper.

probably because most have had big fart cans fitted, due to the original factory systems rotting out much quicker than the 306 systems did.

Would love to see where Peugeot would place daytime running lights on a 306.

Think my EVO had a fuse diagram on the lid. Proved utterly useless in the end as my fuse box fried and they all kind of melted together into one massive fuse that made the engine freak out, and made alarm go off constantly.

But yeah it would be nice Yes
