Got to the car this morning and it refused to unlock no sign of life nothing
Tried the spare key,.. Same
I'm de-locked so key access is not an option,..
I do have an aux battery cable but I took it out in prep for relocating the battery to the boot,.. Doh
Is there a way to get to the bonnet release catch from the outside?

I know this is high risk for paint body damage, but like where the catch is in the bonnet can you get a flat screw driver and push the realease cable hook back, hope it will realease it, had a issue with saxo and got bonnet open like that, but the hook may be behind the grill, hope this helps

    Dewipered boot?

Go in through the grommet. Or jack the car up and get up behind the bumper to the cable release so you can pop the bonnet.

I got into the engine bay by levering up the rad grille enough to pull the catch release,..
My next problem is getting it jumped
Next door have a Mircra but didn't even seem to put out enough power to power the electrics LOL
    So I'm still locked out,..
Think my only option is a charger and put it on charge for a bit! Sad

to be fair this is the only electrical problem i think I've had and i'm putting that down to the stereo having a hissy fit turning on and off on it's own dodgy wire I reckon!

twice it's gone flat but before the electrics worked so after I'm in that f**kers getting yanked out and looked at,..
but even if i get into it I cant even push it to a hill and jump it that way because it's deadlocked so can't push and steer LOL

conveniently everyone's busy,.. i'll just go buy a charger and have done with it! Dry

Better than they do when someone smashed the locks in with a screwdriver,.. Sad
I didn't de-lock to be cool it was out of necessity and for want of not having to lug round 2 sets of keys,..
I'm gona give it longer on this trickle charge because according to the LEDs
The full light is only supposed to come on when the battery is full which it is
But my old battery I've not used for at least 2/3 years is saying is also full,
    Which I very much doubt,..
Also the car isn't priming or anything when I connect the battery back up Crazy
It can't be anything major other than the stereo acting up
The cars sound with everything working as it should!

No it's the led indicator from the trickle charger,..
    That indicates the battery's full

After leaving it on charge from 14:30 till 1am
    Nothing not even a mermer,..
Ill get the Battery checked in the morning and see if its that? Dry
