That is quite obvious however batteries need 24 hours charge before you know it wont chage up again, a battery tester will tell you.

I'd bought a new battery for it last year!

all sorted now!!!! thank fook!
it turned out to be the actual key fob it's self that had packed in or one of it's components!
the spare key I had didn't have a battery in which I found out when it came to opening it LOL
(never used it before!)

and because both keys weren't working I imminently assumed it must be my Battery!

I need to get the boot battery set up sorted out and run an Aux lead from there to the back bumper just in case that happens again!

managed to deadlock myself in my 306 Estate a month ago while changing drivers lock
that was fun LOL
