every one I have seen and fitted does.

I included scorpion as I know the 106 pugsport at one point was a hybrid of the two! but now is a full scorpion system since the demise of Magnex.

I doubt you will go far wrong with one of Mike the pipe's systems tbh, it will cost more than prospeed, nearer the higher price tbh, worth it though, as he knows how to make a system and doesn't just bung in what fits under the car like your usual places.

I seem to remember Denis (russian_guy) had a Blueflame and it sounded very nice.

Fit was spot onThumbs up

Pretty loud thoughThumbs down
Way louder than my Scorpion from idle to 3000rpm,then quieter than the Scorpion above 3000rpm.
I prefer an exhaust that's the other way around, relatively quiet low revs/normal driving, then sings on WOT and high revsYes
It is not a good exhaust for a daily driver being used to go to work at 4am in the morn!No

Interesting...
Providing the storys of sound are true it sounds like the perfect off the shelf option.

I think pug did an amazing job with the standard system. Most of the aftermarket exhausts give you more power higher up the rev range which is exactly where you don't really need any help given the lack of low down torque of the 6. High temp paint on a standard system (will invalidate it) but allow it to last long enough. Slightly different if you are on track 24/7 but for normal road use I think the standard system sounds great and performs very well. I have nice stainless steel exhaust in the garage which I need to sell. I sometimes bolt it on for a weekend blast but realised that most of the claimed 'performance increase' is just increased noise.

I agree with you.

But a)
The proper bits are NLA

Cool
Not a good exhaust for a charged car

C)
Even if they werent NLA it would work oout more expensive

still cheaper than a good aftermarket system that performs as well.

Slightly O/T, but if someone made up a system specifically for the boosted '6's, how many would be interested, and what sort of price would it have to be below for consideration?

I can build something, but I'm not sure if it'd be worth the jigs or buying the parts to make the boxes without some rough numbers...

It would probably be in 316 stainless rather than the cheaper 304 that most use, but not polished (You can use your own elbow grease if you want it shiny!)

I'd get one eventually Phill, need a 'charger first though. Laugh (Wouldnt be for a couple of years)
Price wouldnt bother me so long as it would be quiet enough to get on trackdays, i'd love to keep the magnex backbox or have a very similar tailpipe as i don't like any other tailpipes other than standard or magnex. LOL

Maybe, if you're lucky, thought about it a long time back but the guy who was fetching his car up sold it...
