It's probably worth pointing out at this point that I don't have any idea what I'm talking about and you should base no decisions on anything I say. All I know is what my car does.

Right, so you've stated that you don't have a great deal of knowledge in this field and then you go on to question and even rubbish the suggestions of people who do.

I don't have any knowledge of web designing or code writing, but I know for a fact that you are very well skilled in this subject, and therefore wouldn't question you on a suggestion or comment you made regarding it as you clearly know a lot more than me when it comes to this subject field. If I did, I would firstly most likely be talking utter drivel and secondly would make myself look rather foolish.

    I don't think he does.

I just don't like the arguing within a thread which is yet to be concluded.

    Time. Place.

Ah sorry, was not aware it was possible for a thread to get concluded, thought it either got forgotten about or locked. My bad.

I think what we have worked out, between a few people who know what they are talking about and a few people who don't is that a thermo sandwich plate with a 16 row cooler is the way forward, 33inch lines suit almost every car when mounting INFRONT of the radiator, watch that the oil isn't getting overcooled, don't put a gate valve on the oil line and Owain needs a new sandwich plate for his.

You'll not go far wrong with that. Do a mock up to check length.

I don't think locking is required. Stan will be able to tidy it up and leave it open for anyone else in future to perhaps update their findings or make a query. Saves multiple threads on the same subject.

As Dan says, you're pretty much on the mark with that. Thumbs up

Do we *need* to lock it? Could prove useful for someone else further down the line if they want to add to it.

So by tidy up you mean keep the original question, then delete two pages and have that answer as the second post? LOL

    And order is finally restored

How effective are they then? They just connect to the radiator system, so I thought that track work would get it far too hot?

Haha, it seems the way with the 306. So on this forum who actually has a 306 that they use regularly or even recently, this thread has been an argument between people who don't own, don't drive or can't drive a 306!
