You will cut your finger on said can, and Jamma will have the last laugh. In fact he will suddenly appear from behind the curtain just as you do it, point at you and go 'AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH'. Then you will feel a hand on your shoulder and when you look, I appear out of nowhere sitting right next to you and go 'see, told you so'

Then you will think 'what the f**k is going on, where did you two come from?' then I slap you round the face, which in turn makes you wake up in bed, where you realise this forum was just a dream, one long dream..

.. And then you spend endless days on the internet trying to find this forum, but to no avail. You go slightly crazy, telling everyone about this forum, telling all the stories, giving members names, saying you were called Roland Rat. You take time off work, you dont shower, shave or eat, until eventually a phone call is made and you end up in a mental hospital with no internet access. This drives you even more crazy, until the sad day comes when you decide to take your own life.

I'm sure he'd like to see whale face on anything.

As others have said that engine does look to have moved, hope the Y reg can be saved.

You nasty lot, he loves that car!

To be fair, it looks worse than it is, cheapest way to repair is buy a sad non runner and use all the parts to panel yours.

If you need airbags, airbag ecu, panels etc I have my fair share in stock, I do feel the insurance will right it off, the gas really won't be a concern to them as it a saver for you to run the car not to up its value so to speak.

Good luck with it.

Carl

I agree with you there, I had only seen it in photos. Far to bloody many of the things to be fair LOL
and thought it was going to be at least half about / above average condition but was quite shocked when I
spotted it at Pugfest that it wasn’t all that great. I know your referring to the accident damage really…

Either way i'm sure Carl Chambers is the right man to fix it up.

Most people are only jesting, it wouldn't be the same here otherwise Thumbs up

Car is a total loss Cat B.

I'm still to agree a value, car is sitting on my drive.

The engineer report was as follows (caution contains rediculous ££££Wink

Looks like a bad report to me, as dont need a/c bits, left headlamp just needs a couple of cable ties etc etc

Bugger I take it that means its only good for parts, means a good replacement and swop over all the best bits, I would say a cat b is a bit over the top though, can't see any structural damage.

Was that assessed from photos or has it had a proper inspection by someone?

If that's 'all' it is? Buy the salvage back and you'll be back on the road for a grand/£1500 all in by sourcing used parts and having the front painted I would say.

no chance that's a cat B, if it is the chassis is f**ked and its never going on the road again, which given there are no mention of the chassis members makes me think they have ticked the wrong box.

As expected. Now the fun begins with the fight for a half decent price.

They will want high res photos of your car pre accident to prove its condition to warrant the price you will want, do you have any photos of it?? You cant charge them for the pics by the way!

Chin up anyway, it'll take a while but you'll get there.

would be very supprised if thats a cat b write off jamma! you sure they didnt say cat d?! would have thought that would be more like it.

if it is cat b then as said by others the car can never go back on the road again, also one other thought, dont send your car tax back till you get the number plate off or you will loose that as well, car needs to be taxed and moted to get it off a car!

It could be worth asking for an independent assessor to view the car as a second opinion.
