Owain I don't know why you are wasting your time and effort on a dying car forum. Ash has killed it, hope it was worth the magic beans.

I like to use the word "moribund", I learned it from Partridge.

To be honest, these threads are by far the most interesting ones that happen on here these days, I quite enjoy them. It's better than having the same discussion about which tyres to choose time and time again.

I like intellectual debate, and this is as close as it gets.

Yeah they are about as useful on the road as a tyre made of staedlers.

Also cone filters are s**t and so are ram air kits/mods.

I agree with this, and if I'm honest I quite agree with a lot of the things that you have highlighted in this thread and ill agree the "naughty step" was pretty pointless and made people listen to what you had to say as it was almost made out to be controversial!

Thing is, it's really not that I want my way with everything, or that I think the site is terrible, or that I hate everyone, I just think people deserve to be heard, and it annoys me that you can't have a vaguely interesting conversation without being banned.

FFS I (and others I'm sure) have enough crap to deal with in the real world, I come here to get *away* from that. If I wanted a load of people running around playing at being children, I'd just go back to my actual life.

It shouldn't be this difficult...

Fair enough, the editing problem was annoying for everyone concerned, I understand that.

However, now that has been addressed and fixed there shouldn't really be anything else to complain about. Or am I wrong? Dunno

given this very thread is in existence, that is enough to suggest so is it not?

Not really no, given that this thread was automatically generated. Roll eyes
