You can say that again.

Any job I have done on mine has ended up in tears and more hassle/subsequent jobs.

well she's fit so i hope to god it takes me 3 hours

Providing she likes Fingers lubed with general grime under the nail then I'm sure it's a date waiting to happen.

Forecast is looking good. Ask for a golden shower and hope to god she has no spare towels. Or if she does, take an ill fitting hand towel tucked in just to the left of the hip so the join lines up with your own ball joint - know what I'm saying?

FFS £80 for a mot pass & no hassle is a no brainerDunno

I can imagine the thread going like this-
Can't get ball joint out of hub....
Ends up paying a mobile mechanic £120 to replace it on the now non movable car.....
Later finds that camber is wrong due to being supplied with wrong ball joint....
Pay £80 to garage to sort it out, only to find in your attempt to do the job yourself you've f**ked somthing else up that costs a fortune to repair........
In total car off road for 3 weeks.....

    Laugh my ass off

    Cool

can't be me, i finished mine before i sold it LOL

in 100's of years they'll find wayne's 306 entombed inside a cave of cigarette ash and wonder for years what the half-built mobility device was, and why it has so many expensive shiny braces and carbon bits on it but no wheels or running gear

You forgot to include the 3 hours Welshpug spent staring at a 406 before starting on it.

You won't get dirty doing the brake light switch, but you'll cut your hands to shreds if there any bigger than a 3 week old Childs!

You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this!

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

ha! after hours of struggling with my fat arm through the blower I gave up in a mood and decided id just take it back to the garage with an embarressed face and ask them to do it. dont know if the reason I couldnt get the brake light switch to click in the hole was because euro car parts had supplied me the wrong one (apparently there are two kinds)

anyway roll on the (I told you so's)

thanks for pointing that out, well everyones been saying how much of a shame how low they've been going for... Whistle
