How much fuel did you have in it when you had it weighed Chris?

I reckon after a bit more stripping i will get mine down somewhere between 1000 - 1030kg.

The inner skin of the doors, still got the inner skin on the bonnet too.
I'm tempted to just get a composite bonnet and boot, and maybe doors but i don't want to pay hundreds for them, i'm having a break from spending on the car for a while.

I picked up a second hand carbon fibre bonnet for just over a hundred pounds. And it was near mint. There are still bargains out there.

I don't want to spend much more money on my track car for a while now, it's getting daft how much i've spent on it and i should really be saving more for a house.
If i do decide to go that route i'll be in touch though. Smile

Well had a class day at croft yesterday. Rain held off all day as well what was good. Had a good session with a 205 mi16 on jenveys running 198bhp. Could have been past a couple of times but had to let him back in for the corners but was nothing in it!

couple ofther pics from the day:

Not too bad some of them but the likes of my two mates who are 380bhp are just insane Cool

there was a white one i was having abit battle with for a few laps he came past, got him back on the next lap then he got me the lap after. then there was a silver one, dont know what was going on but didnt seem to be fast at all Thumbs down

Think i will get myself some slicks, bigger TB's soon. Car handles well and my brembos i could out brake just about anyone in my group, may just be because i have no fear tho LOL ABS was keep on kicking in on the same corner just about every lap what was making breaking hard bit a managed ok.

How does your induction kit compare to standard eddy?

As far as i can see its not all that different in design, just the piping is routed a bit more linear around the top of the engine.... just curious Smile

Bet your 6 must shift a fair bit over standard with its extreme dieting LOL

My induction set up over standard is a hell of a lot better, Much better filter and the silicone pipes are much stronger than the standard intake pipe. Waiting for FCS next week to get it on the rolling road. Hoping for 175bhp. Anything more is a bonus Cool

I want a better induction note, really tempted just to run a cone filter at the end of my standard induction pipe but then it will be quite close to the floor and hence risk sucking up water in this miserable weather we are having Hmm

Yours is a CDA or whatever enclosed filter isnt it? How does it sound? Bit of a pricey setup all in isnt it?

There worth the money i think. Keep an eye out, you can usualy get 2nd hand ones quite cheap. They sound good. Not keen on cone filters at all
