Some of you will recognise this car, used to be cooper666s. So far, apart from a wash and a clean, I have done sod all to it. All of the mods are from Matt.

Got a mate of mine to get some nice photos of it.

Bit of a spec:

16inch Compomotive MO1672 with Yokohama S.drive tyres
Avo coilovers
Upper OMP strut brace
Lower custom strut brace
Lightened flywheel and full pully kit
Roller bearing wishbone bush
Custom droplinks
Hybrid rear ARB
Solid rear beam mounts
Goodridge rear braided lines
Willwood 4 pots with modified rallydesign brackets to accept standard discs with dDS2500 and exact braided lines
Piper X Viper filter
Sports cat, Power Flow middle section, Scorpion back box
Powerflex lower mount
Home made catch tank

Cooper666 had it rolling roaded about a month ago and it made 171bhp, so just up from when new. Not bad for a 12 year old car.

Plans are to add a few of my own touches. I want to give the engine bay a clean and make over. Also really want to do a track day or 3 in it, but want to keep the interior as it is (done the stripped out car thing).

Car looks just awesome and those wheels are great.

Impressed by the pictures too.

These pics look great!

Cracking car, you use a wide angle lense for some of these shots??

Decided that I want black masks for my manstone!

Yeah I believe a wide angle was used. Took quite a few, these are the best ones he took.

Thanks for all the comments Smile

Few little jobs fixed yesterday.

New clutch cable fitted (wasn't as hard as everyone makes out) as the old ones adjuster had shredded itself.
Fixed the drivers window as the grey clip at the top had come out of the glass. Not 100% as to whether I need new rubbers as all seemed well, just looked like the old grey clip had broke.
Also fixed a problem that only appeared yesterday, the rear wiper had a life of its own, would turn on and off as it pleased and didnt listen to what I asked when I operated the stalk. Turns out the relay next to the wiper motor was full of water, with it dried it out works. Also added some silicon to the rear wiper hole in the glass as I believe thats where it was coming in at.

Gave the car a real good clean yesterday (spent 4/5 hours on it) seeing as it was a nice day.

Gave the car a wash down (didnt clay it as I did it last week and the bodywork was still smooth). After drying off with a drying towel I polished it with AG Super Resin, windows got a hit with some AG glass polish too. The wheels got a wax with some sample pot of a wax by Dodo Juice, hopefully that should help fight the brake dust. The rest of the car got some Poor Boys Natty Paste wax. Finally gave the tyres some shine with some tyre foam.

Here's the end product...

Really happy with how it turned out Big grin

Want to get the wheels off and give the inner arches a good clean at some point.

The engine bay also needs a lot of elbow grease!

Ohh, also need to do the interior.

Due to a combination of being busy, bad weather and the odd case of being lazy, the 306 has not been washed in a few months.

Needless to say, it is a bit sh1t up!

So, best I pull my finger out then.

Two bucket method ftw

Just to show how filthy it really was

Much better, now for the wheels

Love this stuff

A before and after moment now (although I did remove some of the tar after the photo was taken)

Thats it washed.

Now, I did plan on giving it a polish and wax, however I was knackered after a night out, so didn't bother haha.

I just gave it a good dry, touched up some black plastics, gave the tyres some shine foam and added a few small stickers.

And done

Took the car for a track day on the Anglesey International Circuit, had a great day, weather was dry, as was the track after an hour or two. Also not many cars there so plenty of space while on the track.

Loved it, the car might be a bit harsh on my B road commute, but on a circuit it is awesome, the brakes are fantastic, its well balanced and it gripped very well.

Anglesey is a great circuit, would recommend it to anyone who hasn't done it already.

Well, after killing the engine with flood water, it's new engine time.

See flood thread here.

Bought a new engine that the owner said was the best he had heard in a while and he had broke a fair few 306s. Take stuff with a pinch of salt. It has been sat for 6-8 months so needs a service, as luck would have it I got some new oil last weekend, its a sign haha. Going to do a DIY cambelt change, wish us luck.

The new engine has been stripped down of things we arent going to keep, ready to swap some bits over (lightened flywheel, inlet gasket, etc). Had just cleaned the garage up to bring the car in so we could take a few parts of ready for tomorrow then my mate got a shout (fire fighter) so shot off.

Cant push my car up the hill to the garage by myself so called it a day haha. Tomorrow will be a busy day as long as no plonkers set their house on fire.

New engine waiting.

You can put either on it.

137 is technically for a phase 3. But ive got a manstone and i will only have a 136 on there as the tensioners are metal instead of plastic on the 137.

Dont let anyone tell you the 136 kit wont fit, it will
