I know someone who made a batch of them, he's on the 205 drivers forum every now and then.

Just my 2p but it's really not that worth doing....have you not looked at the supercharging/ throttle body route?

I was obsessed by the idea some time ago but in hindsight, the above two options are the better ones.

Come across a few problems, do i need different hubs because the cv joints are bigger and catch the abs sensors. Also would a 406 subframe fit, its been cut but engine needs to go back further and will lose strength if i cut more. Any help would be appreciated.

Well its still on going, hoping to have sorted the wiring around christmas time, probably the hardest bit left to do.

Engine almost in just got to cut some more off the subframe and wait for the top mount to arrive then just a few awkward bits left to do.

who's making the top mount for you?

how much clearance is there to the PAS pump and the Alternator? looks like you've cut the front crossmember off as well?

Its tight but enough. Done the cambelt while its out, going to be awkward next change. Yeah had to cut the crossmember to get it to fit in. Got a 406 rad for it aswel, otherwise the 306 rad would need plumbing in. Got a mint one for 35 so not bad. Getting a mate of a mate to fabricate the mount. Autodata want 650 quid for the dvd with wiring diagrams on. So found a few bits on the 205 site.

Just want to drive it now. Lol.

Happy Birthday fella Smile
By the way the cambelt intervals on these engines are 100k, but you have to change the rollers and tensioner and pump. Doubt you'll have to do it again in a hurry LOL

Will pick up loads of parts tomorrow if the snow buggers off. Should have everything to complete the project Big grin
