ive got a feeling that my arb bushes are upside down.
ive found another pic of a new 1 with the white dot on, and they could be fitted upside down.

If you put the ARB bush on a table with the slit horizontal. then look at the top and bottom of the ARB bush - one side will be flat and the other will be the 'outdent' which locates into the ARB clamp. The flat bit sits on the subframe.

maybe i should change it also seeing as i have everything else.

I would say a definite 'Yes A new ARB has flex and made braking and accelerating smooth not to mention improving the handling etc. It also takes out the small granular tarmac bumps. amazing really.

In terms of how new parts have affected the car ... I would put Front ARB in at No.4!

1. New Gearbox
2. New Engine
3. Rich_W lightened flywheel
4. Front ARB
5. New Drivers base seat foam
etc

ok, so i removed the bushes and refitted them today, was a right barsteward with the wishbones and driveshafts in place.
before the bushes was in the perfect place but the roll bar wasnt, this time i got it as good as i could and the bolt fitted through this time, and it lined up with the droplinks perfect.
thanks for the help peeps!
