I've only got this one uploaded at the moment. This was about an hour before the accident!

We were getting some pictures for a young lad I know who owns the Mazda.

Will sort the crash pictures when I'm at home!

Yes Phil, please build a new chassis! It's most of the car! LOL

colder roads, and the first rain in ages may have helped to make things more slippery than usual. Nasty to happen though all too common with plenty of power, no weight and rear wheel drive

R888s were fitted at the time, yes.

Roundabout was dry, just added a little too much power. Started as what looked like a decent powerslide at first (not that he's done them intentionally before). But it went all Pete Tong.

Too fast? Well I guess, but certainly no faster then my tank was taking it! Just inexperience with the world of RWD I feel.

Okay, pictures.

Last picture before...

It actually knocked the lamp posts head down...

After we got it home.

None of the wheels survived!

It looks like a new chassis could be ordered and it could be rebuilt. Not sure it's the best idea though LOL

Yeah it is a live axel.

It hasn't been assessed yet, but the wheel on the other side is stuck against the arch. It would surprise me if it was simply a case of bolting a few new parts on to get her ship shape. We shall see!

Lol!

Yeah it doesn't look bad considering the incident I witnessed.

They are interested in keeping parts of this car alive due to it's family history.

Should come out a better vehicle at the end. One with brakes that work! LOL

Yeah, thats the logical safe step, more power is always useful when trying to get out of a jam Ninja

Well the guy took it today to be assessed for the payout. The bonnet doesn't fit on anymore, so it looks twisted!

Yeah, upgrades will certainly be introduced when it's stripped. And maybe a new colour too Wink
