Following on from my previous thread i thought i'd do a build diary of sorts....

Well it's starting to come together now. I got most of the pink vinyl off yesterday, picked up and loosely fitted a nose cone, replaced the roll cage that was cut up with a new one which came with the car. Got to go and pick up a load of parts from the Caterham factory in the week.

Also bought myself i nice fancy dash and data logger (right bargain although still not cheap nor necasery but i like gadgets).

We've straightened the rear suspension and had the engine running. So i'm now starting to look at possible colour schemes for it once fixed, and it's giving me something to do on night shifts!

I am quite keen on the gulf colours Smile

I can mock up any colour scheme you like the sound of on a 3d model if you want to see it first. Wink

The problem with yellow and green is that people will think you wish you were Ayrton Senna.

The issue with Gulf colours is that people will presume you want to be Steve McQueen.

I'd try and go for something really original, if possible try and find a business to pay for it for you

Could you do one with the yellow and green John? The main reason i like that is it'll be easy to spot when watching the racing from the side of the tracks, at the moment it's always difficult trying to see who's who when you're watching the races.

Are you allowed and/or is it possible to change the rear axle Sean?

I'm not allowed to change anything really Steve, except pads! One of the reasons i've gone for this championship.
