i cant see it being much, if any thing,

i still havent put ducts in from the front vents to the brakes, so once they done, they should be cooler if anything Big grin

i find from going from cylcones to 1.9 speedlines that the wheels hold FAR more heat.

On daves 350 bhp turbo 205 he had brake failure after about 5 or 6 laps even on the aclon 4 pots 310 mm discs and SRF fluid.

he switched from speedlines to pro 1.2 and his brakes now fine after 10 laps.

I belive this is due to the smaller holes in the speedlines design.

you new wheels looks even worse than the speedlines.

Just a thouht.

sorry I meant the complete failure when we rolled was due to that but even after that with new master etc he could still fade brakes to near dangeroues levels UNTIL he swapped the wheels.

if he can only do 5 laps of a tiny circuit, i would suggest he re looks at his cars braking system, i really fail to believe that the wheels changed that.

he has a more fundemnetal issue

all of the high powered 205's that lap KH can only really manage 6 or 7 laps before having some pretty serous brake overheating issues.

most run 4 pots with larger discs and good pads but dave is the only one to run and after market style wheel.

well decided to get a nice accurate Rev counter Big grin

i will eventually get rid of the 205 in place of accurate gauges, so one by one they will go Big grin

what you think of this idea?

Looks really neat in there mate. Is it cheaper to go for all individual guages like that then? Or is it better to bite the bullet and get a complete dash unit like Race Technology or Stack for instance?

I now purchased a set of Genuine PTS Bilteins front's (except inserts, as i already have bilsteins inserts)

i bought these as my current compbrake bodies, wouldnt let me lower the car enough, without bottoming out.

and as you can see the bodies are around 30mm shorter, so solvers my problem Big grin

after sending back my adj microphone as it was faulty, i bought a different version, a condensor Mic, so been out playing tonight, tryting to find the best location for the mic

here is a small vid of it sat in near the wiper motor,

do you think it's to much engine noise?

also like the new camera location? it's sat in the aerial bolt hole Smile
