with my many faffings trying to fix another issue...

i tested my PAS sensor with a multimeter....all fine....but i have a somewhat obscure question about its bypassing?

its basically a switch....off or on...its normally closed...and opens when power steering pressure rises.

so leaving it unplugged makes the ecu think the power steering is constantly on and the ecu constantly raises the throttle?
presumably through messing with the icv and fuel duty cycle?
by reading a few threads on here, a few people do just leave it unplugged.

and to truly bypass it you should bridge the loom plug pins with a wire....so it thinks the power steering is never on?

between leaving it plugged in and working and the other two....i could feel it messing with the engine rpm ever so slightly when driving.
and i dont like it.... so ive left it with the loom plug bridged.

its reaction to raise throttle always seemed delayed as is.

thoughts?
