Hi, my glovebox does not seem to stay shut as it opens going over bumps even when it is locked. Is it worth just replacing the whole lock mechanism?

does any part of the catch mechanism look worn?if not, i suggest maybe bathing/blasting it with wd40 out the straw. you might get lucky and there's 20+ years of oil grease/crud that's hindering it. ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |
