Kev,

From research into the subject it's suggested that you might not achieve any gains by fitting your cams to a forced induction engine.

The gains on the N/A engine come from running a lot of 'overlap' i.. exhaust and inlet valves open at the same time

On a boosted engine you tend to experience 'blowthrough' on valve overlap and you may even find you lose power as a result.

It would seem more sensible to concentrate on the amount of gas the valves can flow when they're open rather then the timing.

That is to say, maybe look at bigger valves and headwork? Dave knew someone from his time at Renault who may be worth contacting?
