Looks a lot neater thats for sure.

Good to know that you wont hit your boost pipes over bumps etc now anyway, I was driving infront of Pete yesterday, and those pipes + 60mm drop looked way too close to the ground sometimes!

The pipework is 60mm, the chargr outlet is only 50mm so its no better to run a huge intercooler and bigger pipework in my eyes mate.

I havent got mine running high boost, its set at 300bhp, i want to keep the spare wheel etc and for me the 300 bhp is more than enough to get me into touble.

Yes as you can drive this as a daily should you want to, the 106 was great but was an all out racer.

Love this car to bits, i must do as it costs me about the same as my mortgage a month!!

Hi Carl, looks good Thumbs up Are you looking to do some sort of comparison between the old and the new setup on the rollers? If there was no difference in power then i would certainly be interested Smile

shame you cant set it up with 3 stage mapping and some sort of choke lever setup on the charger so you can have 200bhp economy mode for run to the ring, 300bhp for some laps then 400bhp mad ass mode for when you brave

Thought i would bump this thread back up as i now have more to do (does it ever stop?)

Little bit of an update, took the car over to Germany this weekend just gone and had a bit of an off, its done the front and back but luckily i got away with any severe damage and it got me all the way home, a total trip of 1200 miles.

Car really did drive superb and its a joy to drive, the only thing that grates is the amount of noise from the exhaust, at 90Mph its silent anything more or less is horrid.

To say the road i had the incident on was skiddy is an under statement, i lost the back end numerous time and corrected it but this last time was wayyy to severve.

A few photo's-

Before i set off, all clean and ready to go-

Here is the damage, it looks much worse than it really is, most of it is just unboltable panels, the wing needs a little tweak as does the leading edge of the bonnet, i suppose it gives me an excuse to rid the car of stone chips now.

Well as soon as i got back i stripped the front off to find, very little damage once things were removed-

Slightly bent front panel-

The damaged pieces which i removed, bumper, grill, head lamp and the engine under tray-

Going to get all the bits that annoyed me about the car sorted whilst its in the bodyshop, stone chips here and there and the side skirts repainted as in some places they look see through, mostly the marks etc were on the bumpers so they will obviousley be sorted.

I will show more about the back end once i remove the boot install i could be arsed today.

Carl

Similar setup to mine for the oil/sc coolers, just mine are the other way round.

Would be the rear damage that worrys me, but im sure your body shop can take care of it no problems, their work has looked excellent in the past!
