Are these like the PIAA wiper blades with no springs, just the wiper rubber which is silicon?

I'm looking to get a new set of blades. My current pair have no spoilers and have a habit of lifting off the screen LOL:.

here

I personally found these Valeo ones to be rubbish because they missed bits. I've kept the one on the back though, that does the job nicely

UM663 is 22"

They didn't properly touch the screen in places. I sold them to blondie on here so ask him if they are ok. They were noisy too. To the point I couldn't handle it

And no, they're not the same as the PIAA silicon wipers (which are the mutt's nuts) No

I thoughts the flat blade wipers were car specific? do those AR551S fit straight on?

I have bought a set of the Valeo ones in the end, and besides the passenger one I am very happy with them.

The passenger one misses out the very edge of the windscreen. It's annoying but I ain't too bothered since the tax disc is there anyway! But flat blades I discovered after fitting are made for flat screens as found on many new cars, where the Pug curves at the end. Besides that I'm a happy man with them.

I'll get a pic soon.

I would be interested to know what the verdict is on PIAA silicone wipers Vs the XOPC Extreme Silicone wipers...Has anyone got experience with both?

I'm fed up with the standard fit Bosch jobbies as they can't deal with cold weather, way too rigid at low temperatures, so dont actually clear the screen properly!
