Hi,

what the bore size and external size of the Auto Tensioner Pulley and Guide pulley? Just wondering if i can use one to replce the one on my 106 GTI as pug wont sell just the wheel/bearing and want £75 for the whole bracket!

O.D. of pulley is approx. 88mm

Centre bore of bearing is 17mm

Width of pulley approx. 25mm

mmm fitted these the other day... well the 2 smaller ones... need some advice about the last one... sounds better think my bearings where gone on the old ones.

So... whats is needed to fit the larger one? can I just unbolt?

Good to hear Jim Thumbs up

Yep, just whip the belt off, undo pulley [22mm socket and big bar needed].

You may need to put the car in gear, and have someone stamp on the brake, as the bolt will be tight and you will probably just turn the engine over when you try to undo it.

Tap the old pulley off with copper hammer or similar, then refit new pulley.

Use a little threadlock on the bolt, and torque to 120 nm.

Refit belt, and Robert's your mother's brother Thumbs up
