Right had a quick search but its a bit of a strange question. .

Ive gone through 3 steering wheels in about 6 months! Basically they just continously break up, feel sticky, and my hands get covered in crap.
Its taken the last one about 2 months from perfect condition to get like the above.

Has anyone ever had this prob im starting to wonder if i have some sort of sweat disorder!

Or is there any treatment that anyones used..... for either a sweat disorder or a steering wheel Razz.

Mine's done the same. Started to deteriorate on a particularly hot summer day and since then it's worn away at the 10 to 2 positions. Mellow

Is yours a P3 wheel? I think they've used some fake leather stuff to make mine which is why it's worn off unlike real leather. Roll eyes

Just ordinary leather treatment presumably, not sure how effective it will be. No doubt it would be silly money, but you could find out how much it would cost to have the wheel re-leathered with decent stuff? Happy

Never met mine, but I have a feeling if it ever did happen it would be quite a close relationship blossoming quite quickly but then sadly fading away like a wilted flower, once she was spent though would have to replace her with a virgin I think...............

Mines completely dissolved at the back from 10 to 2.

Going to turn a new rim up and mill a new centre out of ally.

thug you can use one hand to whip the wheel round and back again when it comes to parking?? Steering's way too weighted for me to do that in mine, gotta be a two handed job, and then followed by about 3 turns lock to lock cos of the turd turning circle Big grin

Yup totally ironic, that's the idea...........went on holiday 10.5 stone, came back 9.8 stone........not the usual!!

Actually can do the whole one hand parking thing (tried it today) but it's alot easier on a punto with the city button LOL
