Are gti-6 and phase 1 xsi fuel pumps the same?

i thought the pumps were the same across the entire range.

I believe the phase 1 has a different pump to the phase 2/3 as it has seperate level sender.

All petrol pumps are the same within the same phase though (Phase 2 and 3 are the same).

some 1.4 and 1.6's have a 1 bar pump.

Nope, pump too, smaller, quieter units, have my dead one here.

Ah ok. I knew the carb'd TU engines run a different pump but I didn't know some of the injection ones were different too.

I can confirm that the 1.4 P1 pumps are different, just replaced my GTi one with a 1.4 pump (needed it desperate, scrappy only had 1.4 P1s Sad) and its got much less power now, holds back after 3400 RPM, got dicked my a 106 Rallye on my private bypass.

I'll be looking for the correct one come pay day!

i hope the one i got from ecp is right, i ordered it for the gti6.
there was 2 part numbers on the pump, 1 is different and the other is the same except the last digit. put 40 litres of fuel in and it only says half a tank.
