Have just been in touch with PSCUK on Facebook and despite having booked my tickets on their dropdown menu as parking with the 306gti6.com club stand as per usual they have informed me that no one from the club has registered a stand with them at all this year?

For one thing I didn't realise we even had to do this as there has always been one in the last 7 years or so I've attended and for second If indeed we did have to register a stand every year then who has been doing so and hasn't this time?

I know pretty much everyone that has attended with us in the last few years as well as lots of other members that end up going with other clubs or other groups of friends etc and no one has ever mentioned having had to register a stand.

Also who else is attending this year from the club?

Was hoping for a half decent turn out as this place is free once again.

Leadfoot was the contact they had. But the tit ain't replied to them. Although im sure he never arranged anything as tying his shoe laces always proved difficult for him...

Considering they said no one has arranged it this year yet Lee hasn't had a gti6bfir like 5 years I don't see how anyone has been organising anything at all. I expect they just kept it as a rolling club stand as we've kept using it.

Am intending to go.

But nb their online shop acc pages are a faff as not secure. (they want you to register a separate acc.)
So have told 'em please do a secure version.

A stand has always needed booking there, back in 2010/11 I was the one who booked it, but haven't a clue who did it since then.
I didn't even realise this show was still going to be honest...good to see there will be a club display Thumbs up

well seeing as they now appeared to have fixed their insecure scripts, am going to book, & when I reply to them to confirm it works, I can ask if a stand needs booking.

nb wd strongly recommend the login page for this site is rescripted for https://306gti6.com, as my browser is grumbling the login is insecure. Any chance?

Re stands, booking etc have just had this from Rich at PSCUK

"Only PSCUK members who turn up on the Sunday and show a valid membership card at the gates will be allowed Paddock side.

I emailed Lee Clark on 1st Jan as he was my contact in previous years and he has not got back to me asking for a club stand, I am unable to post on their forum as I think you have to pay for access. "

Then follows mention of posting on soc media, FB etc since Jan.

nb online booking ends today.

I shall just turn up on the Sunday and try and explain the faff about booking online (I don't hold with PayPal) and hope to be let into the paddock. Whistle

I've asked about a hundred times but never got a reply (making 306gti6.com use HTTPS)

Essentially if you log into 306gti6.com on any kind of shared connection any 14 year old idiot with a laptop can see your password sent in cleartext.

Also ISP's inject extra ads into insecure requests.

Basically anysite should use HTTPS now, and its free www.letsencrypt.org

I'm going on the Sunday this year, and looking forward to it... I haven't been for a couple of years at least. My Rallye will be on the Pug1off stand if anyone wants to come and say hi.

@prism7guy are you coming in Goldie? I've wanted to see your car in the metal for ages.

Will be there in the cossack ph1 if it behaves on the way down. Looks like I'll need to become a pscuk member on the gate if I want to park in the paddock area somewhere.

If you havnt already bought invited club member tickets and obtained a paddock pass then this is your only way of using the hill on the day. Otherwise you can show up on the day and park on the orchard side in the public car park / field and can't use the hillclimb.

If you already have your prebooked ticket and paddock pass then you'll be fine we will have a stand somewhere.
