Alright learned forum members.

I have decided to install one of these panels in my 306 race car so I don't have to have the steering lock and standard ignition key switch on the side of the steering column.

Have any of you 306 racers/track day guys done this?
Do you have a wiring circuit I could have? My 306 GTI-6 is a T reg [1999] one. Although I have the Haynes manual for the 306 I know that the GTI-6 is not covered in it.

I already have the FIA emergency cut-out switch on the centre dash.

I've done what I think your trying to do, I fitted a toggle switch ignition and push button starter. It's quite easy really, I got my hands on another ignition switch , worked out the wiring labelled it then removed the loom from the ignition switch and fitted it to the switches accordingly. Il have a look round and see if I can find my notes from when I did it.

Cheers. I have had a look in my 306 Haynes manual at the wiring and seen new ignition switches for a 306 on e-bay and thought I may try cutting into the wiring to install this.

If an enthusiast like you has already done this and you have the wiring circuit, I would be very grateful.
I have found the 306 GTI forum excellent for shared info.

i'd like to do this too!
often thought about fitting a modern land rover push start button (like the feel of them! LOL) and hiding it when the track car gets nearer to being ready just little added security and I want to do away with keys! Razz
