Any chance of being able to get owner information from dvla on a vehicle you once owned?

No. Imagine if you had road rage and knew the plate of the car you were angry at, then requested the address of the owner from the DVLA and went to attack said person. Extreme example but it's the sort of reason why they won't hand out personal information.
