I need to get some new pads for my gti 6, what are recommended to be the best pads for a track car? thanks

You could try carbotech xp8's. No idea if they make them as an off the shelf item but I had some custom made for my setup and they've lasted several years of proper abuse, not a lot of rotor wear, good from cold and they just don't seem to be overheatable. Slightly dusty though but you can't have everything.

^^ Yep, was some cracking advice! The guy who i spoke to at Carbotech knew his onions and couldn't have been more helpful. Come to think of it i'll be needing another set of pads for next year.
