NGK BKR7EIX's [road use] or the BKR8EIX's [road & track use]

I had BKR7EIX in my low boost if that helps.

Think i have a set knocking about that only covered 10 miles. Thought it was the plugs causing an issue so bought new ones. Turned out to be bottom end Sad

Yours for £15 delivered.

Would the road use ones suffer from the occasional bit of track use? and would you notice any difference from the track use ones one the road?

I thrashed the s**t out of my low boost (hence it gong wrong) and the plugs were fine but others on here may have used both and experienced the difference Dunno

Infact read this. It will explain all about the plug temps and insulation causing problems

I ran 7's in my throttle bodied engine.

not the extortionate iridium ones though.

I wouldn't think you'd have much trouble keeping 8's clean on a boosted engine on the road to be honest.

Well it's always used to its potential when I drive so there is no risk of it getting clogged full of s**t that's for sure.

I ran 8's on my slightly tweaked low boost for 2 years with no problems clean enough on the electrode etc. Swapped to 7's last year though.
