Induction of 126dB!, did you need to wear ear defenders and oxygen masks on the rolling road, sucking in all that air.Thumbs up

I may get it Laquered with a few coats ...just to protect it ....

Umm some probolt titanium nuts and bots would look good on there, looking good, must generate a good few kilo's of downforce at speed.

We all had to wear ear defenders at SRD rolling road & that was (outside) LOL ......I think it would suck a small child in even with the air filter on Whistle ....the one off Satchell oval not round straight inlet on 48mm Jenveys is insane Crazy

I get all the Stainless stuff FOC ...I'm in to weight saving must admit but I've lost so much weight on the car now that ...now concerned about 1/4 kg of nuts & bolts etc ,..I know it all adds up Thumbs up .... need to get the chassis/ rear end sorted to where I know it can get ....it deserves the best handling I can afford to get the very best out of the Sandy Engine ...
Best ask Dan about how much downforce but I'm
Expecting 2-3mph loss on top but best high speed handling & even better cornering Thumbs up

I've just left Combe & funny you ask Dan ....my cars only 30mm drop & as I'm sure you know on 50series Dunlops ...so quite high still

No way would the splitter be any good with my standard front bumper Sad .....it would be 120mm off the floor with the lower standard 6 plastic straight finishing black bumper lowet bottom strip removed ...

Tony Palfreys come up with a great idea ....Whistle ...more to tell soon ....how did you mount yours & how far off the floor was it ?

Great day at Combe today helping out Wil Declaudio in his 106 ...he won his class & came in 3rd v all 450plus BHP cars in higher class ...

Anyway Josh Cook of BTCC was with Will & Sandy all day ....so learned loads of tips & tricks off them & others ....great days racing & I just may look at the Hot Hatch series which opened today & was amazing to watch Thumbs up

I'm sure Others will tell you being around these people & hearing & speaking to them is amazing & simple things can make such a difference Thumbs up

I kept the standard splitter and mounted mine to that and the chassis rail. It was still pretty high but I didn't have the time to make a better mount point. What I really wanted was to create a front bumper that incorporated the splitter and looked more professional.

Depending on where you've mounted it, I think the spoiler could cost you more than 3mph, but will be interesting to see.

I've got a idea on a complete front bumper which will be lower complete ...but with detachable Splitter & the bumper will remove complete in minutes ...hopefully get prototype made. ?...along with 14 other ideas LOL

The top speed loss won't be a worry ....as long as I get the handling where I know it can be DAN Thumbs up

I'll see how things go at the end of the year Wayne ...I'm doing 1.17s now & have taken 78kgs out the car & hopefully after my rear dampers & 25mm TBs & tank plus pedal box is done I'd like to be in 1.16 which would put me in top 3-4 in today's Hot Hatch & would love to be in high 1.15s ....but that's a while off Thumbs up

Today made me relize I've got more money & development in my car than most ...hopefully I'll get the driver sorted at the same time LOL

was a good day and surprising how quick some of the cars actually do. The 205 of Gary Prebble was doing 1.15's in the hot hatch but certainly looked a good little series. Think will was doing 1.14's in the saloons in the 106 and Don Hughes doing 1.17 in his 306 in track attack was great to see just how capable these cars can be in the right hands against some much bigger kit

Shame about the big off at the end in the track attack series which ended the day with the 206 upside down - thoughts are with the driver as currently in hospital
