249.00 plus 20% vat / £294.00 Crazy

Even when the Dash blower & cold air was fitted my Tunnel was making the car on a warm Combe day almost unbearable !

Went in my m8s Rally car & when it's moving its Cold ....unlike the warm air which was coming in through the Engine bay via the heater blower !!!

Also where now to fit the old Ariel LOL

I've got a drift works roof scoop only £252. Identical to the trs roofs scoops Smile will hopefully be much more bearable with a bit of air flow. Hoping to be removing my dash completely soon and getting a standalone dash lot of weight to be saved Smile

Here's the Dash lightened minus the stripped loom Thumbs up

That's a big improvement but I went a lot further that that, my dash ended up being a single skin with every unnecessary bit of plastic removed & rounded off, that bar went too, it took me about 3 hours with a cutting disc in the grinder but it was well worth it. It's very flimsy now but the bolts along the top & a couple of cable ties round the cage did the trick!
Glad you took my advice & saved some moneyThumbs up

Cool

You should have put a wanted ad up. I have a carbon fibre roof vent sitting around doing nothing as I fitted another one to my car!

Bugger does it have vents etc ?

Why did you fit another one ?

Ooh well Thumbs down

I'm sure now you had said this someone will snap it up !!!
Can you get a Picture please MartinThumbs up

Yes it's a fully functional roof vent. With interior vents. Drain pipe. Filter mesh inside etc.

I fitted another one as I had 2.. so it was just a toss up between them!

If you ever see my project thread which is lurking in the depths, there are pictures of the current one fitted to the new car.

I can only grab pictures in a few days when I'm next with the car.

Edit. This is the current one.

Looks amazing Martin Thumbs up

What rear wings /.Arches are they ?.....fibreglass ?

Placed it back further on the roof because I Have headlining still in & want my interior lights & central locking roof centre to be used still ....also I can keep the Ariel in the same place & big bonus is the head lining is flat inside further back making the fit inside spot on when cut round Thumbs up

Bonded it on & have to back fill edges tonight !!!
Raised it 3mm to stop water from the back of the roof flowing into the back of the roof vent ..

I will file the outer top of the inner vent so the outer top drops down at the back nice & flush ....

Not really Mei ?
Heater Matrix went before FCS so decided to remove heater Thumbs up

Then decided while dash was out to Remove excess Weight & get flooked ..
And sort out Satchell Shift tunnel hole & fit new boot internally ...

Plus even with the Blower in ..it's not cool air on a warm Track day / Action day etc ...

And I would love 15s but my Ashs 330s won't take them ...Razz
Must admit Mei I am keeping my eyes out for some AP / other Quality setup for the future that as you rightly said would save yet more Weight & bonus of cheaper tyres Thumbs up

Sadly Mei I enjoy doing things on the car Crazy

Mechanical Accusump & Oil pressure gauge being fitted hopefully Friday !
The Heated Screen can wait until after Forge day next month

Well apart from my head unit / stereo fitted back in the cars nearly finished Thumbs up

It's been apart for 15 days & not used .
Took it out along the ring road tonight & gave it good run .
That 40kilos in car interior weight loss in total .....Massively notices & the car feels much quicker through the gears and appears even to handle better Whistle

Yes it's a little noisier inside but nothing stupid & if you like Throttle Bodies then the bark inside now is amazing LOL
The roof vent is amazing & the really cool air coming inside is controllable & quite ...I'm surprised at this & no more warm engine heat through the vents Razz

Just got to order two new Dunlop DZ03Gs in 16s for Combe Forge Action day next month & game on Big grin

I'll Post some pics up hopefully Tuesday of my dark slate grey flocking dash / centre console / steering column surround plus other bits .

Big thank you for a amazing job by Southwest Flocking also known as Lee / 3gan on here
He doesn't talk about his talents when he should Thumbs up

The colour looks much better & doesn't show any dust or dirt up as black does ...winner .
