My only concern with the DTA is that the company has gone bust. Is there an official or well recommended place to get it fixed if the ECU breaks? It's unlikely to happen but you'd be kicking yourself if the ECU dies in a years' time and you can't get it fixed anywhere.

Good news if i read this right. Quoted by welshpug some weeks ago.

And Been told by Martin Fox of MEF Motorsport who knows Mei on here that Alex who bought it is a Software Enginner & the previous owner was offered big money by all the big boys but he wouldn't sell ??
DTA seem to have a cult following not the biggest but reliable & offer all the functions of much more expensive units & Sandy Brown loves um ....
Some other clever sod would always sort them !....far to many racers have them ..

Don't forget ANYBODY can go even OMEX....no ones safe in little old Motorsport ?
Any the old DTA owner retired & wasent going to sell / just close as he didn't & couldn't handle seeing anyone run or own it .....
Thank god he trusted & listened to Alex Thumbs up

ECUs unless left in damp & wet conditions are very Reliable Whistle

Also Dan if your buying off Miles he gives amazing support & will be using OMEX soon himself ...so that's an indorsment on its own ...Sandy Brown preferring DTA & Jenvey & Mei sold it to me ....you won't be using Sandy ???
But Omex 600 won't do x8 injectors if you were thinking about going that route ?Thumbs up

Good reading this, The reason I use Omex is my mapper is 5 minutes away from me which is ideal, I don't have time to travel (would be good if I could), easy to use and set up along with allot of people knowing the system if anything happened down the line
The Omex bodies are DCOE fitment so no issues, TPS's are allot better and cost wise bugger all in it overall, linkage is nicer as well,
The biggest plus on the Omex bodies is not supplying the horrid DIY fuel rail as std only the 1 piece rail

why did you buy the whole kit? all you needed were the bodies and TPS if you're getting a satchell inlet and trumpets!!

Standard inlets are what Colin Modifies, i believe the Jenvey one is too short to do anything with.....

standard gasket will suffice, they dont get hot without boost and they seal better on the fibre gasket.

if you mean the regulator you just need to use the one on the standard fuel rail.

you only need the one regulator even though you will be using two fuel rails

Think you'll struggle to run both fuel rails off the standard reg, but the standard reg will suffice until you install the second rail. Then I'd ditch the standard reg and run a seperate reg, but still just the one.
