How did you get round yours ?

Still haven't solved it, but I'm out for surgery now, so the car will have to wait

I've caused a problem I wouldn't of had by Wrapping every part of my exhaust Adam ...but forgot to wrap the hanger so all heat encased heads there & bingo melted rubber ....I needed to wrap it because of the Sachellshift & all the heat shields being removed !!!

Easy fix got some heat tube to go round the hanger & just drilling one end of the powerflex out bigger Sorted Thumbs up

Can you put some heat reflective materials on the underside of the tunnel?

I had a full heatwrapped exhaust on my astor and never melted any of my standard rubber mounts. I had a heatwrapped manifold, decat and straight through middle section. Try get hold of a set of audi exhaust hangers, i had some s3 ones on my nile 6 and they were more solid than the pug ones too

Don't forget.... EVEN both my boxes are wrapped in ceramic 3 layer Zirotec basically Everything is & I could stick something in the tunnel but how would you keep it up there ?

I've got to take the heat shields away from gearbox forward To fit my Satchellshift Eddy & any exhaust makes the tunnel super hot ...but Stainless as you know makes it much hotter as it holds the heat much more !
So some people are thinking about sticking Zircotec self adhesive flex able ceramic sheeting down the tunnel from the box forward Eddy Thumbs up
Problem is its half moon & that sticky will need clean smooth service to work ?
