hope its something else but I'm affraid the HG gone..

bought the car a month ago, and noticed the engine getting over heated quite easily when driving slowly in the traffic (did straight cool down to normal on faster..) also no warm air came in even the engine was running hot..
I checked the coolant level and it was low..not very very low but the level was around the middle of the radiator.. topped it up, test it and found everything okay, normal engine temp and heater working fine..cheked the coolant level after each run was still okay...
once after I went for a motorway drive and pushed a bit harder the coolant level went down a little bit aslo when I took off the radiator cap it started bubbling for a couple of sec (perssure gone?).. Sad

the oil cap looks fine still clean no creamy thing..

Did you bleed the system through properly? Airlock and/or matrix weeping would show your symptoms too

nope, as I thought wasn't missing that much...but thinking I had no heating at all when the coolant level was down clearly shows it was an airlock in the matrix..

whats the proper way to bleed it? I'll do it tomorrow..

No a sniffer treat would be a lot more conclusive than a compression test unless it's absolutely f**ked to the point where it's chuffing exhaust out the radiator cap. Then it's rather obvious anyway.

There's plenty of guides and info on here about how to bleed through the system correctly. Have a search Thumbs up

Best way I have found is to get the engine nice an warm... Top the rad to the top and with it running watch for bubbles... if you have combustion going into the water it usually shows up as a steady stream of bubbles of air coming to the surface.

Not really true, if you run it with the cap off the water starts to boil due to the system being open to outside air, with the cap on the system is sealed preventing the water from boiling under normal conditions.
