Looking to buy a quicker rack for my 98 6er.

Xsara VTS Ph1 Rack i read is the quickest available so that's the one i would like. But if there are any others eg Quaife etc that i should be considering, please let me know!

On forums you'll see people asking anywhere up to £150 for a phase 1 rack!

Cheers Jamie - that's as good a reason as any to hold out for a PH1!

It is slightly simpler to use the P1 rack as it has the same fittings as a 306, but I ended up with a P2 rack and paid an extra £20 for the pipework, and it went on fine. Night and day difference, should have been on the car since new. So if you can't find a P1 rack, a P2 is still fine and does the job.

I'd be wanting more than that to sell mine. But it does have brand new 306 track rod arms and ends

These racks are becoming rarer, since there weren't that many Xsara VTS sold in the UK and loads of them have been broken already. People are snapping them up for the 306, so they have been going for more than they should technically be worth.

Something is worth what someone will pay for it!

LOL definitely won't be getting another 6. Especially when I've got a very good 205 gti on the driveway.
