Hi guys

Thought i'd best introduce myself as will be needing plenty of info with our trackcar build

Im Paul from Grantham,Lincs and recently bought Orta's GTI6.
Myself, father inlaw and both brother inlaws wanted a cheap track car so saw this for sale round the corner and went and got it!

We've put a list of jobs to do and are slowly buying bits to get it sorted but progress is slow due to dark nights lol!
It is remaining road legal and won't be spending a massive amount on it, cheap thrills are what we are after

List so far:
Timing belt change
Discs, pads, braided lines, 5.1 fluid
Oil + filter change
Fresh anti freeze
Gearbox oil
Aircon removal
Battery and screenwash bottle relocation
Weight reduction
Brake cooling ducts
Decent tyres
Wishbone bushes

There the main bits I can think of at the moment,will be looking at seats, cage and suspension at some point but see how we get on first, not looking to mess with the engine.

Iv done alot of track work before but its all been with Jap cars so anything else is a bit alien to me,even had to get a set of torx bits to work on this car

Any hints or tips on prepping a 306 for track use would be helpful,thanks
